Takeharu “Kod” Kodaki

Takeharu started his career in the music industry as a producer at Cavern Club Osaka from 1998 to 2007, a live music venue specializing in Beatles music, after that, he worked as an audio technician at music halls and TV stations. Takeharu continues to engage in unique educational activities, such as teaching Beatles history at a community university and Shotoku Junior and Senior High School, while performing solo concerts every month.

Regarding Rolling Slide, when Takeharu was wandering around Australia in 1996, he had a completely new perspective after interacting with the indigenous Aboriginal people. Enlightened by their simple truth that is not bound by stereotypes, he was inspired to develop a new musical instrument. Then, Takeharu spent the next quarter century to develop the instrument and filing a patent application, which eventually led to the commercialization of the product.
